After travelling the world, I wanted to process the memories by manifesting the impressions from the journeys into music. So I chose ten of the cities I had visited to play with local musicians and artist and made one song to each city; "New York", "Bagamoyo", "Casablanca", "Paris", "Mekelle", "Tyr", "Kathmandu", "Nairobi", "Kolkata" and "Reykjavík".

The album features a star team of musicians such as the exceptional Dutch singer Sanne Rambags, Bugge Wesseltoft on piano, Jo Skaansar on bass, Helge Norbakken on drums and producer Kåre Vestrheim. Some of the international traditional musicians I have worked with, do also appear on the recording, including Ustad Ashraf Sharif Khan from Pakistan, Zakaria Houaoura from Morocco and kids from Rashedie refugee camp in Tyre, Lebanon.
